Not sure what varsity has this particular shade of red, but it's more a pinkish red than a true red. For once, the colors on the web site were pretty spot on. Unfortunately, I wanted a true, classic red. Sizing is pretty narrow, even sizing up I found the shoe snug. And I wasn't impressed with the ease of the "slip on" aspect either. Definitely not a step in and walk off kind of shoe. You need to give the heel tab a good tug to get it on. Too bad. Really wanted a Converse pair of shoes.

These felt like the old converse that are too tight around the toes. Uncomfortable to wear for any real length of time.

I'm one of 10+ men I know who have been waiting for this shoe to be released in men's sizing for years. It is undoubtedly the best slip-on shoe on the market. Please, I ask customer service every year. Make this shoe in larger sizes. Sincerely everyone with a large foot.

I needed a half-size smaller to keep the heels from slipping. They have nice cushioning and are easy to put on. I’m happy with them.
