I have an almost three year old little boy, who loves trains, including Thomas. He was so excited to wear these, it was hard to get them off at bedtime. Easy on and off for us, with the velcro, but not so easy that our toddler walks out of them. They are a little big, as he should probably have an 8.5, but we ordered a 9.0. He'll be wearing these fora long time, I'm sure.

ConsWears Out Fast, Too Stiff
My son loves Thomas. I bought these 2 weeks for him as a surprise and was happy they came 2 days early! It's taken some time to break the shoes in and there's already fraying one the outside seams. I had anticipated that as my son plays roughly and refuses to take these off. The only problem I have is that the shoes are narrow for my sons feet so he has trouble getting them on. Other than that, he loves them. He says they are comfortable and has no complaints when we take long walks.
