Skechers are durable and easy to maintain. Bought a pair one year ago and my son wore them to school for a whole year and they still look as if he could wear them another year. They are also comfortable wear even with thick socks and you don't find that everyday.

The lights are great - have noticed in the past they do not last more than a few months, but the kids are growing so fast it is about time to get a new pair once the lights stop working.
