I have been buying Columbia Sportswear sandals for 12 years now and this is only the 4th pair I've bought. That is certainly a testament to the quality of the product for it to last that long. However, 2 changes greatly effect the quality and wear-ability of the shoe. 1, lose the Velcro, it simply does not last as long as the rest of the shoe. 2, the straps across the top of the shoe are narrower than the used to be making them very uncomfortable at times. Widen that strap and bring back the buckle and I will continue to be your biggest fan.
