I bought this pair because I volunteer at a horse farm and I wanted something that was waterproof and easy to walk in. These boots are wonderful!!! I normally have to buy boots 1/2 size larger but I didn't need to do that for these. I would definitely buy them again~

About 5 years ago, I bought a different pair of Sporto boots with a very similar style. They lasted through 5 years of constant winter use before the soles wore through and the outer layer started flaking off. The waterproofing worked well (not quite as good as rubber rain boots if you're walking through deep puddles, but almost as good) and they were relatively warm. If you live in an extremely cold place, you might want to invest in warmer boots (my toes did get a little cold when I wore these in MI), but these did the job for me in MD. They were dressy enough for me to wear to work and to conferences and I found them to be comfortable.
I just replaced those old boots with these, which seem just as good as the old ones so far.

These are stylish enough to wear to work and with javing clunky boots on. Keeps feet warm and dry. Had to return first pair to repurchase half size smaller. Otherwise I love them.
