Bought these a second time and the skechers has skimped on the quality. It's also rather narrow at the top making it uncomfortable. Hopefully it stretches as I break it in.

I walk in NYC....a lot. And with these shoes on my feet never even notice the distance. They are roomy and wide so your toes have room to do their thing. They have good insoles and are not to stiff. Looking to buy a second pair just in case I walk my current pair to an early demise. Awesome casual loafer.
