These shoes were comfortable from the moment I put them on. It didn't take breaking them in. Because there was more cushioning than many others I tried. The stride is extremely stable. I have orthopedic inserts due to low arches and walking on the outside of my feet. These shoes keep my feet from rolling out and are even more comfortable than the inserts. That's what sold me!
Very comfortable but in the heel it is a bit stiff and causing irritation. The irritation does not hurt or hinder my ability to wear the shoes, however.

This shoe FEELS like a woman's shoe, not a scaled down man shoe shrunk down for a woman. I bought the Canteen color and I love this product. I thought that I'd have to break them in for a couple of days. No way! I actually forget that I have them on my feet because they are THAT comfortable. I did a lot of online research for hiking shoes before I bought my first pair. I settled on TEVA and I am very happy with my purchase. Next up: hiking socks.
