Standing on Concrete
fromTampa, FL
Not working out
PostedOctober 18, 2014
ProsAttractive, Good Cushioning
ConsPoor Arch Support
I stand all day at work on a concrete floor and I thought these would be great for that. Unfortunately my feet were killing me after 2 hours even with insoles. So I thought I would wear them for walking and because they don't have much arch support my shins were killing me after 20 minutes. So now I'm thinking I'll just wear them as casual shoes when I don't have to walk or stand too long. My Skecher Tone-Ups thankfully have turned out to be THE shoe to use for work and walking.

ProsArch Support, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cushioning, Lightweight, Pronation Control
I'm a pharmacy tech whick means I am on my feet for at least 8 hours everyday no breaks. These are the only shoes that don't make my feet and back hurt after a long day. They are very comfortable and these are the second pair i bought. I had my first pair for over a year now and wore them to work everyday. But after a year of wearing them 8+ hours a day and at least 5 days a week they started to wear down a little. But still a great show tahrs why i had to buy another pair!

Reallt "walking on air"!

ProsArch Support, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cushioning, Lightweight
The Skechers Air series are the some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, but the Inspire series (with the mesh on top not like the regular Air seeries that have learher) are the #1. They really feel so light but provide the absolute best support for your whole body. I had an accident a while ago and these are the only shoes that I am able to run in, because they absorb shock from my entire body. Plus when I walk around they are the most cofortable in terms of not being heavy, and as mentioned absorbing shock and providing the arch and whole body support so that I am not in (any extra) pain. I don't know why the Inspire seeies is being weeded out, I have a pair of regular Skech Airs and love them- but they are not as comfortable and don't go with the feel of the lightness-but-supportive Inspires (and Personal Best which are the same design). I purchased about 4 colors before these mesh-on-top with air bubbles-on-the-bottom dissapear.
