Scratch easily, dents easily, narrow expensive for not being durable or lasting very long keeping a nice look,doesn't breath well at all but keeps out water while walking.
I was forced to return this pair (and I did try to make it work) because the tongue cuts straight into both ankles. There was no give, and I'm not sure that anything could be done by a cobbler to make it better. I tried this pair with a very thick pair of socks, but still no dice. I should also point out this pair was not available at stores, where I could try them on before buying. I have owned this style by other brands as my go-to pair for yucky, muddy, rocky terrain, and for the occasional I'm-not-waiting-for-a-tow-truck-in-this-neighborhood walking shoe. It was unfortunate that I could not keep this pair, as Skechers does make a great shoe. Refund was awesome, however, and I did make sure the service was fully aware it was with great reluctance I was making the return. Skechers: Please redesign this small flaw. I WILL buy this again once the tongue is corrected.

Comfortable to wear shopping or wherever you need to. They have some cushion in them to help with the impact of walking on pavement.
