Bought these to do yard work. Sometimes if the ground is wet or especially wet grass I want something that has grip to the soles. These do. The only real drawback is that sole is really stiff. Otherwise comfortable and easy to wear. Would be good casual wear but for me at this price, great boots. Soles are easing up but I don't think they will ever be very flexible. Would not want to walk far until I got used to them over a few wears.
