ConsLights Don't Work Well
My daughter loved Twinkle Toes, every time she would outgrow a pair, we would buy the next size up, until this last pair. The on/off switch ruined these shoes. This will be our last pair. The switch is located right where you hold the strap to fasten the shoe so she was constantly turning them on or off by accident. The first pair we bought we had to return because one of the lights came on and stayed on all the time, even when she wasn't wearing the shoes, no matter how many times we turned the lights on and off. It was like a nightlight! But the next pair wasn't much better, sometimes the switch worked, sometimes it didn't. Eventually the lights wouldn't come on at all. Our previous pairs, the lights kept working until she outgrew them, even after washing in the wash machine. They took a great design and tried to over-complicate it. Too bad, we used to love these shoes.
