I work as a cook and am often on my feet running for over 14 hours without sitting down. I purchased these shoes because I always use Skechers products for exercise and am always totally in love and rebuy my workout shoes. However, I still slide all over the plunge when it is wet and I have had the worse case of heel pain after work. The inserts provided in the shoes are useless... I have spent more on special inserts for the shoes than I spent on the actual shoes. But nothing helps, there seems to be no shock absorption in the heels. The plastic piece that creates the hard toe is also slightly narrower than the shoe, so you definitely feel the edges of the piece rubbing on your toes. Nothing that blisters, but can be annoying in thicker socks. Also, the soles are odd... working in a kitchen within a few hours the ridges on the bottom filled with gunk that is now impossible to remove and I believe is the issue with why I slide all over the place. I will say, after two years of 6 days a week 12-14 hour days, the laces, seams, stitching, everything has held up extremely well. They still look like new when other colleagues have bought new shoes two or three times. Overall, I am unsure how I feel... I think they could be great for some, but, if you are like me with weak arches, they really hurt my heels. They are extremely durable and definitely I have the cutest shoes in my kitchen :P

Great work shoes, they do need to be broken in, first few days they hurt my feet, can't feel the steel toe which is nice, they are stylish and look good. I wear two pairs of socks a with them just because I am on my feet all day, slip resistant tho I only slipped a little on our work floor but didn't fall, haven't had them long so we will see how long they last before needing another pair. Can't go wrong with these tho they should come in other colors for women.

I usually wear a 7W but got the 7 regular and the toe was still wide, breaking them in little at time, wish it was more cushing inside
