I really haven't worn these shoes, but have tried them on. I am wearing a boot cast, and needed a comfortable shoe with a raised heel to equal the height of the boot. This works well. Although they do look like the nursing shoes I used to wear to work, I do like them. I plan to wear them on a trip to Europe next month - will update after that.

I have worn a tan pair of these Sketchers all over the world
As I said, the tan pair of Sketchers I waterproofed years ago (maybe 6) and they have been the go to shoes I've taken traveling. I do not worry about walking miles through any type of weather or environment as they are very comfortable and stable. I bought a new pair only because I know that the material inside the shoe does age and break down as I have to buy running shoes every 6 months. These walking shoes, however, show no outward signs of wear at all. I bought a new pair as a backup. I was a bit disappointed that I could only get one color, but black will supplement my wardrobe.
