Wide apparently is not in the toe area

Sketchers needs to open up the toe area on wide shoes. The wide and the regular are the EXACT same!

Great shoes so far, great feel for a steel toed shoe. I am a supervisor and do not need steel toes for most of my day, so I wanted to have a nice casual shoe but with a steel toe. These shoes fit that need.

ConsSteel Pinches On Toes, Way too narrow, Wide And Medium Are Same, Wide In Black Not Brown
Normally I like Sketchers, but they missed the ball on this shoe. The fact that the brown comes only in medium while the black is available in wide is simply baffling. It is worse when they both feel the EXACT same! I am not sure why steel toe companies think they need to pinch the sides of your toes to work, but it is simply stupid. WHY can't they make the toes WIDE! No one wants steel pressing on the sides of their toes all day! Open up the width on the toes to make them wide, like the shape of most people's feet

my husband wears these shoes 7days wk for work. he's on his feet allday, and said they are light in wgt. and very comfortable. esp having a steel toe.
