I'm a detective and I am required to wear certain clothes. The Sketchers meet that requirement. They are extremely comfortable and look.good at the same time. I often forget the shoes are steel toed. Not sure how well they will do here through the summer. Steel toe will really be tested with 120+ degree temperatures

woman in steel toes.....i felt totally "free" when i changed from steel toe boots to steel toe sketchers... i got the oxfords, i stand for up to 12 hours a day on crummy flooring, and i don't hurt when i go home... i got extra wide so i have room for some good socks... only sketchers for me...

Decent for what I need them

ConsTough, Well Built / Quality
The shoes have steel tipped toes, which was not mentione din the description. I need these type of shoes fo work, and I walk about 2 miles everyday. Besides the steel tips, these feel very comfortable and have good grip on most surfaces. Haven't tried it on snow/ice yet.
