I have looked at these shoes for over a year but could not find them anywhere but online. After much deliberating and having my foot measured I ordered them. They have been true to form so far. I am a foreman for a major shipyard and walk a lot of steel in a days work. So far these shoes (and my feet) have felt great. They could use a bit more arch support. I had worn 8 inch boots for the last 16 years as a mechanic. These are a welcome relief.
The shoe is very comfortable. However, there's one issue with the shoe. I've only had the shoe for 1 mth. and the stitching in the front is coming apart. That is the only problem with the shoe. That's why I rated it @ 3 stars
I usually spend well over $100.00 for a pair of steel toe work shoes and can usually expect about a year out of them. These are the third pair of Skechers work that I have owned. The last two pair lasted over 2 years. And they stay comfortable right up to the end. I only buy new ones because I eventually wear holes in them.
