I just recently purchased a pair of theese boots for work, I must say they are very comfortable,light weight,and seem to wear well,the only downfall to theese are they were addvirtised as also being water proof-resistant,maybe if the tounge were fully guseted,,,,,,imagine my surprise when my feet became soaking wet at work,,,not a very comfortable day...John in R I
I was trying to find the Preston for my dad, who tends to be very hard on work shoes as he is outside most of the time. He generally complains that they do not last long or are too heavy. He loved, repeat loved, (SKECHERS Product Designers: He would like to have these back!) the Preston because the shoes were light weight, yet really protected his feet. He is happy with the Blue Ridge, but states that they are heavier than the Preston. I can't yet comment on the quality of the long term wear.
