These tall boots puckered at the ankle and look like pirate boots unless you have wide calls. True to size.

I returned these boots because they were wide at the top which would be good for tucking your pants or jeans into. I personally would not feel comfortable wearing these with a skirt. I also thought that they were genuine suede at the top but they were not. Otherwise, they seem to be a comfortable boot if you are looking for this type of boot.

I wanted a classy black boot with a heel. This one fit perfectly. It dressed up a casual skirt and sweater for the holidays. They were so comfortable, I wore them through the day and into the evening party. The 3" heel wasn't too high for my 5'6" height. The two tone black is suede and leather and it has two zippers to adjust to tucking jeans inside or wearing with tights or leggings.
