Nice boot; the color is truly a dark wine, no red at all so that's perfect! I like to wear socks with mine boots so they ran a little small/narrow so I ordered a half size up and they are perfect. The heel is exactly 2 inches which is perfect for dressing up or down. The stitching isn't very noticeable so don't let that scare you away. It just adds a little detail which I think is nice. I would recommend.

This boot is great for me as I mainly wear jeans thru the cool months. I bought the burgundy color which is still very neutral but nice to have different than just the usual black or brown. I found the sizing to be true. These can be dressed up or down. I wear thin socks with them and have found them comfortable.

I ordered these in wine, which is a beautiful color. They seem to run a tad long, so I'll be exchanging for a half size down. The width was fine. I have "muscular" (chunky) calves, and zipping the boots all the way up makes them snug around the top inch or so, but I'll just leave them unzipped that last inch until I drop another 25 lbs. No big. The product description stated leather at the time that I ordered them. They aren't, but I wouldn't expect leather uppers at this price anyway.
