I am a Zumba® instructor with all kinds of foot issues -- very narrow foot, broke one foot in high school and it didn't heal correctly, had a stress fracture in the other foot last winter.... Anyway, I'm always searching for that "perfect" shoe for Zumba® -- one that is narrow enough to fit, doesn't bother the foot that was broken years ago, offers enough support for all of my jumping so that I'm not scared that I'm going to fracture my foot again, etc. I won't say that this shoe is "perfect" for me, but it's pretty darn good! I ordered 2 pairs in different colors in size 8 -- in most shoes, I wear a 7½ or 8 and I saw that people had said these run pretty true to size, so I went with the 8. When I tried them on, I felt like my big toe was at the very end of the shoe, but I decided to give them a try anyway. I taught a class in them and determined that, yes, I needed to go up a half size. Other than that, though, they were very comfortable, I felt like they had enough support for me, they didn't bother the old injury, etc. I rated them as being a ½ size too small, and I'm also saying that they are "slightly narrow," as I felt like they fit my narrow foot without me having to pull the laces super, super tight. I have now ordered them in 8½ and am waiting for them to arrive -- fingers crossed that they aren't too big!
