Shoes were okay when I first slipped into them. They were comfortable when I walked around the house. However, I decided to go for a light jog in these and didn't make it past 200ft on the sidewalk. They were stiff and uncomfortable in so many ways. As a student, I wanted to give Ryka a try because of its affordable price. I would advise those on a budget to just stick with your usual shoe brand and/or a more reputable shoe brand, instead of trying to save money on a low quality shoe.

Sneaker insert

Love the Ryka shoe brand, but for some reason the Ortholite shoe insert makes my socks slide down. I have several pairs of the Ryka Influence which I wear for Jazzercise and they are great, however this is my 2nd pair that have the Ortholite shoe insert, and I am having the same problem again. I have tried at least 5 different types/thickness of socks and they all slip. Is it just me? But I absolutely love the color/design on this pair.

Ryka is the only brand I’ll wear for studio exercise. I used them exclusively as an instructor and now as a student.
