Not enough flexibilty for my instep

I tried them on and the length & width were fine but they hurt the top of my foot due to the high instep that I have. If they had more fleibilty I may have been able to wear them.
I ended up giving them to my son who they fit instead of returning them.

Both my brother and I have been purchasing this particular loafer for quite a while. They are inexpensive, yet hold up pretty well. They are decent looking too! Their mostly rubber/vinyl (??) sole enables them to wear much better than more expensive loafers with regular leather soles.
