I researched these boots before buying them but was still a little apprehensive about purchasing them online. Needless to say, I worried for nothing. Although I would prefer a slightly more narrow calf for wearing with dresses, the boots are comfortable, attractive and nicely priced. I wore them all day at work as soon as I got them and was perfectly comfortable continuing to wear them at a school function that evening. The "upbraid" is a nice finish and keeps them from looking like all the other black boots.

These boots are comfortable! LifeStride is iffy for me usually wont buy unless I can try on 1st in store. The leather is soft and pliable so they were comfortable the whole day even the first time I wore them.
