These shoes looked great and are very popular. After getting them and walking around in them, they were uncomfortable and my feet hurt. I like to go for long walks nearly every day so they were not for me. Looks aren't everything. I got a pair of Hoka to replace them.

Changed the design without any notice

I have been a loyal advocate of these shoes since I was a child. Fast forward 30 years and they have always been the same…until now. I was so excited to get a fresh pair but noticed that instead of the interior lining being canvas (which makes it a perfect summer shoe) it is some sort of padded polyester. Very uncomfortable and hot. There was no notice on the site or anywhere that they had performed a redesign, in truth I found the opposite. They state it has been unchanged for a 100 years. Do not buy if you love the classic. Extremely disappointed and will now have to find a new go-to shoe.
