In 40 yrs. of nursing the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, however the last few pairs I have purchased have something wrong with the tongue. The pairs before these the tongue on the right shoe always moved to the left, never straight. This last pair I bought the tongue on the left shoe is shorter than the right one & the lettering has fallen off after 1 week of wear. Makes me wonder if I'm paying full price for seconds. The first time this happened I thought this might be a one time thing & now it has happened again. What's going on ? I have been buying them @ Skecher's website since I can't find them in any store since the lawsuit started. I would still recommend this shoe to anyone that's on their feet alot or have arch & back problems, however I do think the company should make sure all shoes are first rate & not sub standard.

They are the most comfortable work shoes I ever wore. I am on my feet all day and walk long distances as well as standing in one place for long periods of time. I work in a medical center food service department and these shoes are both comfortable and give me a feeling of security even on wet floors. PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE THIS SHOE! Style #76428 BLK. My co-workers, even those in other departments, and I really NEED this shoe to perform our work comfortably and securely. I wear either panty hose or socks with these shoes depending on the season of year.

I was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease that manifested with a drop foot on one side. I went for PT and was fitted for an orthotic. I figured I had no choice because wearing the orthotic was the only way I could walk more normally. Just for a change, I put on my Skechers. I immediately noticed that they are made the same way the orthotic was made - I was able to walk totally normally, immediately. I was amazed and so very, very happy! I immediately ordered an additional pair so I would not wear these out and not have another pair available. The store I originally made my purchase no longer carries the shape-ups. Thank you for giving me a wonderful solution to a difficult problem.
