I bought these shoes on the advise of my podiatrist. I am diabetic and have a condition called Chacot Foot, which causes me to be susceptible to foot fractures and ulcers. The design of the shoe (suppotivr, rocker bottom) minimizes this and enables me to walk better and longer
I have these wonderful shape-ups shoes for about three weeks. I'm a waitress and I have the non-slip soles resistant shoes and have notice the support immediately. I had knee surgery about 14 years ago, and since I work on my feet all day I was looking for some shoes that would give me more joint support. The shape-up skechers definitely have positive affect it has had on my knees and posture. The only MAJOR disappointment is my Left shoe is falling apart. The sole of the shoe is glued on, and for some reason after having these shoes for about two weeks, I notice the sole gradually unpeeling off the shoe. So my recommendation is make sure before wearing these shoes that they are properly made correctly. Since they are on the pricing side make sure you get your money's worth.

ProsArch Support, Comfortable, Cushions Impact, Durable, Easy to walk in
I am wearing my shoes during my active work day. I am a certified nurse-midwife and see patients all day long in my office. The shoes are quite comfortable and I can feel my calves getting a workout. I bought the shoes to help exercise and lose weight...I am definitely exercising...I'll let you know about losing weight
