My son loves the shoes and that you can change the color. The only problem is the part by the toe of shoe is coming apart. I was hoping they would of hold up longer than two weeks.

Seeking diversity from Stride Rite, we tried out Sketchers for our 5-year old. Three pairs in 1 year: Pair 1 - the hook&loop stopped working after 3 months. Pair 2 - just fine, our son outgrew them in 5 months. Pair 3 - the stitching that attaches the hook&loop to the leather has come apart. Two strikes and you're out, Sketchers for Kids. Which is sad, because my adult Sketchers have all been awesome.

I bought these for my 4yr old grandson and he loves the idea that you can change the color of the lights. He has one on blue and the other on red and pretends he's a policeman. He enjoys wearing them and watching the lights light up.
