I have worn Chucks since the 1960s, so yes, that makes me old. However, feet don't care, and I needed to replace an 'identical' pair (low cut classic Chucks) that are perhaps 7 years old, and they are no longer made like they used to be. The tongue and sides (eyelet area) are now longer than they were, hitting me in the ankle badly and to make it worse, they replaced the 'banner' on the top/end of the tongue, which used to be sewn on cloth, with a rubber/vinyl patch that makes the tongue inflexible, forcing it into my ankle even worse. I returned them. Neither classic nor comfortable any more.

I’ll never NOT love my Chucks. I wear them with jeans, joggers, cargos, skirts, and maxi dresses. Fit TTS (but maybe a tinge narrow for wider feet). Converse, I hope you always offer these!

Sleek and Comfy

I've been wearing converse for decades. The low tops are the perfect shoe for every day and any occasion. Getting them in all black also means that you can trek through the city without worrying about looking too run down on any given day. And ultimately the fit and comfort of the shoes is great, but do your feet a favor and get the wide option. Your toe box will thank you.
