First of all, I'll mention that I didn't buy these boots from Skechers. I got them from a different company online. I'm hoping that's why I had issues with the boots. Anyway, the pros are that they're comfy, good-looking, and have good traction. Now for the cons: the metal eyelets shredded two sets of shoe laces (the third is starting to fray), one of the tongues was too short, and if you look at the 2nd from the bottom picture, there is a seam on the side of the boot that the threading ripped open. Also, the outsole did wear down pretty quickly. Lasted about a year. Due to these issues, I don't believe that I would buy these boots again. My comment to Skechers is that if they would make the Vostok Backwoods in all black, I would definitely buy them. They have different eyelets and the build quality looks better.

Work boots that are great if you don't mind buying a new pair every 3 months. Tread still looks new but have a big crack in the sole and 3 large holes in the side. My last pair from red wing lasted me 5 years.

I bought these shoes for my job outside. I've been wearing them on and off for over a year now. I can stand in 2 inches of standing water and my feet are dry. I also took them with me on a trip in 7 inches of snow, my feet were dry. The comp toe is nice and tough, haven't tested it yet but it is very durable. The shoes don't have a lot of flex due to the comp toe, but over all I think their comfy. As I sit here writing this I have been wearing them for 13 hours straight and my feet still feel good. They do get warm though due to not much breathing space area, again, due to the comp toe. Overall, if your working in a wet environment or outside I'd definitely get these.
