Shoes do not breathe

I bought these shoes for my son to use in his job as a cook. They are comfortable to wear, but they do not breathe and his feet sweat for most of the 10 hour shift. This causes the shoes to become uncomfortable and his feet to smell horrendous. They will be going into the trash as soon as he has replaced them.
