Basic black style but not enough cushion

I liked the basic black style so it can go with pretty much anything. I wanted a new pair of comfortable sneakers/shoes for vacation. It can go with shorts, jeans, yoga pants...probably not dresses but that's ok. So I tried it out and walked on some paved trails around a park, nothing rocky or bumpy and also around the neighborhood. Short walks are ok but longer walks....no way...feet hurt. There is not enough cushion and the bottom of my feet hurt. It is just a tad loose. My normal size is 6.5 but would have to wear just a little thicker socks with these sneakers. I also put some insoles to help with the lack of cushion....ok so now my feet fit little better, there's bit more cushion..tried walking again...feet still not very happy after a long walk...I'll keep them and use them for the gym on the elliptical or the bike, maybe short walks but not going to take them on my vacation. oh well... still searching

I have the other shape-ups models by Skechers which I have worn the whole day. I just got this model recently. I like it but I am still not sure how it will perform for a whole day of walking/standing (haven't got a chance to test it yet and this is why it is only a 4-star rating). The length of this model might be slightly longer than the shape-ups models but I can still wear it comfortably (I wear a size US7 for most US brands).

Wear shoes to work instead of sneakers very comfortable but look better than sneakers. On my feet all day.
