"I picked this shoe for my special needs son as they are easy to get on plus it has velcro strap but its not the zstrap where we have had them go bad in the past due to poor velcro . This design has half elastic bands and one small velcro strap so I think they will last longer. They are also very light weight shoe . I would highly recomend them."

"I'm not a big fan of the z-strip so I have to normally go on-line to purchase a different kind of velcro strap. this one is very easy to use and stays put, especially with the extra velcro right in the center as well as the side. My son had to work them in, there were a few rigid parts, but after about a week he finds them very comfortable."

Cons: Too Stiff

"I love the dark colors. They don't depend on the velcro to hold on, the "laces" are built in elastic straps so these almost feel like slipping on a pair of crocs. Fast to put on and go, look nice."
