"I really love these boots! I bought them because of the color and especially because of the circumference of the calf of the boot. They are wide enough for me - but not too wide! They are super comfortable! They look great with dresses or pants/jeans. A great buy - talk about a victory!!!"

"The opening is so large, that your calves would have to be 18-20 inches around for them to fit properly. Definately made for a larger woman."

"These boots are comfortable, as they should be from the Aerosoles brand. However, the construction is not up to Aersoles standards. The first pair I wore twice and the rubber sole completely came apart from the shoe. I presumed it was a fluke since I own other Aerosoles shoes and love them. Famous Footwear graciously shipped me a new pair. The second pair arrived with the right zipper not even attached to the boot.
The little I did wear them, they were comfortable boots. I would estimate the shaft is 15 1/2" in circumference with the second zipper zipped CLOSED. This is truly a wide calf boot with that separate zipper option open."

"These boots were exactly as they were described and I received them promptly! I am a teacher and am on my feet all day, so comfort was a major issue. They have a low heel and some cushioning in the footbed which makes them comfortable for a boot. I read other people's reviews and comments, before I bought them, which was helpful."

"Super comfy, true to size, love the color and buckle details. Probably won't ever need to unzip the extra legroom (and I would say I have average or maybe a little bigger than average calves). But it's a nice option if you need it. I teach and am on my feet all day, so I'm super picky about needing really comfortable shoes. These passed the test! Can't wait to wear them with jeans and sweaters!"

"These shoes really are lovely looking and I was so excited about them, but ultimately, I returned them because they were way too wide at the top. They stuck out so much that it just looked silly. Even tried thicker boot socks, but I just couldn't keep them when they just didn't fit correctly. I advise ordering a half-size smaller than what you need - there is an extendable zipper for wide calf people, so you'll have all the room you need."
