"my old 623 had a slightly higher cushion (probably 1/4 -1/2 inch) up the ankle - the new one felt a little different when I first put them on - not a deal breaker - just different - still a great shoe for the price"

"I have large feet. Going to Famous Footwear online allowed me to find a New Balance 623 in a size 16. This is something that I cannot do very often in retail stores. I really appreciate this website for it's ability to provide shoes hassle free, at a fair price, and in my correct size.
I originally bought the New Balance 623 in both a size 15, and a size 16, because I wasn't sure which size would be the best fit. After trying on both sizes, I determined that the size 16 was the best fit. Famous Footwear made it very easy to return the size 15 that did not fit. I just took the pair of shoes to the closest retail store. All in all, it was an excellent buying experience. I will definitely use Famous Footwear in the future when I need to buy new shoes. Thanks again for the great shopping experience!"

"I wear a size 16 shoe and it is difficult to find reasonably priced shoes, but Famous Footwear seems to come through for me with the New Balance brand. The 623 has a rounded toe and is the most comfortable New Balance shoe I have purchased. I would recommend it to all the other "big foots" out there."

"I looked on line at 30+ sites to find these in my size 10 4E. Lots had this shoe but not in my size. Famous Footwear did at a good price. Shippng was good. This is a shoe that fits me better on me than other New Balance and New Balance is the best."
