"I bought these for my sister's b-day. She has wide calfs (usually buys her boots at torrid). When I saw these advertised as "wide" I had to buy them for her since she wanted riding boots badly. They were like 1-2 inches TOO SMALL. I have to return and hopefully find a decent riding boot that actually has wide calfs."
