Important to know why you might want this shoe. I have a torn ligament in the plate (Ball) of my foot. I need a stiff beveled sole like the "Shape-Up" to be pain free when I walk. (This is very common) Since Sketchers no longer make the Shape-Up this is the closest they had to what I need. Shoe looks good, lighter than the Shape-Up, comfortable, nice width in the ball where I need it. Does not have as firm a sole as the Shape-Up but it appears to be working for now. I do not think the support will last as long as the Shape-up but I may be wrong. It is a nice looking, comfortable, practical, and a very good buy. I have always worn a 9.5 size but with sketchers all the many pair of shoes I order are size 9 and they fit great.
I have fused ankles, and have tried many, many shoes, even the z-coils and other very expensive brands in hopes of walking more comfortably. The Skechers are the only ones I wear now. The others gather dust in my closet. The ultra rigid, stable footbed is what makes all the difference. Thank you for making this shoe! Please don't discontinue this style!
