"I had not worn Daniel Green slippers before because truthfully I don't like wearing slippers - I'd rather wear a comfortable shoe with some support since I'm a plus size and tall - 5'8" and not as steady on my feet as I used to be.... But....this slipper/shoe has a pretty substantial outer sole and because my feet are generally cold, the wool top is great. I also wear some really soft wool socks (not too thick) and between the wool socks and the wool slippers, my feet are comfortable. Because wool 'breathes', my feet don't get hot - just are comfortable. I bought these slippers in both blue and black and wanted the gray, too, but it was sold out."

"one of the most comfortable shoes/slippers i have put on my feet in a very long time i went into the store found 2 more pairs in different colors and came home with both pairs and i would recomend them to anyone."

"Was looking for a casual shoe that I could wear around the house all day and still keep my feet warm. These were perfect! Made in Italy (not China!) and very well constructed. I decided to exchange them for the off white color. They have a nice sole that you can wear outside as well. It is hard to find material that isn't synthetic and the wool is very warm. I would get them in all different colors but my husband says I have too many shoes!"

"I was looking for a warm all purpose slipper. One that I could slip on after a long day and relax. These slippers fit the need perfectly! They are nice and warm and very durable to withstand trips to the garage and outside to collect the newspapers. I expect to be wearing these slippers for many winters to come!"

"These are THE most comfortable slippers I have EVER worn and I live in slippers! They not only have a super soft suppotive insole with a lot of cushion but are also very warm. I have found the only slippers I will ever buy from now on...I have already purchased a few pairs and will order a few more by season's end. "This is a slipper. Not for outdoor walking. I was in so much pain from basic one day walking. There's no support, I would not recommend this."

"Maybe not for someone who has had foot surgery. I bought these for my Mom and she said they were a size too small, narrow, and the cushion quickly became flat and unsupportive. FYI she is very petite. She loved the style, thought they were well made and was really sad they didn't work : ("

"This shoe is definately well-made, sturdy, padded. They definately look like slippers, not a shoe you would wear out in public. I ended up returning mine because I actually need a size 10.5, which rarely do shoes come in that size but I can get away with 10-wides sometimes, so I thought I would give them a try. Even though these shoes are wider than just a medium-width shoe, they felt actually a smidge short in length. Maybe it was because of the padded edge on the back of the heel.... not sure! Overall, I would recommend this shoe if you were looking for a good, supportive slipper to wear around the house, and if your feet were smaller than a size 10!"
