I was looking for a comfortable yet stylish work shoe when I bought these. They certainly look great, but are so stiff when I put them on that I can't imagine being able to stand them long enough to break them in. Had to return.
On the plus side for me, since I have slightly wide feet, these fit width-wise, which is always a problems with any shoe I buy. If you have narrow feet, however, you may need to go half a size smaller.
Also, though the suede-feel is ok, I think these would have looked (and felt) so much better in leather, maybe even patent..
this shoe has the look of a flat but gives you an inch of height and arch support.

This is my sixth pair of Life Stride shoes and I'll keep purchasing them as long as they keep making them! With arthritis in my feet and a history of plantar fasciitis, I can wear my Life Strides all day. And look good doing it! I receive tons of compliments!
