I had a navy blue pair of these in high school and loved them then! The only thing is I couldn't remember how to adjust the strap because it was too tight on my foot. I just typed in "adjust straps on dr scholl's sandals" and searched. Luckily some really wonderful instructions came up telling me how to do it!

These are almost exactly the same as the Dr. Scholl sandals I've had on and off for the last 30 years! Only difference is I don't think the rise on the wooden sole is quite as pronounced as the sandals back in the '70's. They do make a slapping noise as you walk, but that's just part of the fun of wearing them! Otherwise they are identical. Good quality of leather the strap is made of, same thick wooden sole...even the buckle is the same. I do wish they came in half sizes, though.

They arrived in excellent condition. First pair I received were too small. I wear a 1/2 size so I exchanged them for the next size up. Exchange was very easy and quick. I'm so happy with my Dr Scholl's! They are as great as I remembered them -- from my teen years back in the 70's.

This shoe doesnot give your foot any support. The vamp of the shoe is too low for one and the heel part of the shoe just flip flops as you walk and your foot doesnot stay straight. If you have fallen arches this shoe isnot for you. I did like the firmness of the insole but there is no support for the arches. The color and texture of the leather were excellent.......
