Great shoe to dress up or down even with a nice pair of jeans. They look a lot more stylish and add some height to my 5' 2" because of the small little platform, but not too high so you can still walk normally. The bronze shade so versatile, goes with any color and with a skirt elongate the leg. Wish they came in Wide, I would love them even more as the man made material does not stretch like leather would. Normally wear a 7 but in this style they run long so had to exchange for 6.5

Conswhy velcro?
Great shoe! Stable, comfortable. I will be wearing these in my sister's wedding. Only dissatisfaction comes from the Velcro strap that goes around back of foot. Velcro? Really? At least it's relatively well hidden.
