I was looking for a comfortable walking sandal. This was almost it. I say almost because it seems I have skinny ankles and I was not able to adjust the strap tight enough around my ankle. I was disappointed because everything else about the sandal was perfect!

you must have really wide feet fot this shoe

I usually wear a wide shoe but since that was not available I got it one size bigger. That was TOO big so I went to my normal size. That too was too big. If the strap was ajustable with holes like a belt, it would have fit, but since it was attached with valcro, it could not be made tighter. It would be perfect for very swollen feet.
