These are lightweight yet warm and solid. Sole is good for snow and light ice. These are very cute and comfortable to wear. Feet feel very secure in them.

I bough these because I owned another pair of Skechers high tops that I already love. I brought these with me to a very snowy weekend and they actually kept my feet warm and dry - and I even wore them snowshowing. I couldn't believe it. Paired with my insoles they are so so comfortable (I have high arches and plantar fasciitis). Sizing: Skechers in general run a half size too big, at least for me - I normally wear an 8 and buy a 7.5 when I buy Skechers (and this even allows enough room for the inserts).
