I purchased a grey pair at a local store and they were so comfortable that I went on line to find a pair in a different color. The "taupe" color on line is a really nice shade of tan with the fabric a tan gray color that looks more tan than grey. The pair that I just received. Is really much more of a grey color than taupe. I can already see that I can very easily put on 2different colored shoes as they are so close to each other in color.

Shoe is made to wide to fit medium width shoe wearers.
These shoes were almost perfect except to wear them for any length of time is painful due to the chaffing of the back of my foot. Super comfortable inside the shoe. Perfect fit, a little roomy without feeling too big for extra breath-ability. Soft cushy insoles, and stylish. Awesome no-socks sneaker shoe. Love the look. I tried to wear them despite the hard narrow back of the shoe digging in behind my ankles but after an hour I was in serious pain. Unfortunate really.
