Overall, they are comfortable. However, I the glued-on tag on the tongue of the shoe bothered my skin - was chaffing badly. It took some effort, but was eventually able to remove it. Once it was removed, felt fine. Note to Converse: avoid the tags!

I initially saw the recommendation that they run large, to order 1/2 size down, so I ordered a 5 1/2. I had to return it for exchange not necessarily for length, mainly width. The size 6 fits much better. I tried wearing them with no show socks and that did not work! They kept sliding. Barefoot in the shoe is the only way. They’re so cute, I just love the look. I’ve wanted this style for a few years and I’m so glad I finally got them.

More heel slip than expected…

I purchased the black nylon All Star Shoreline Slip and expected the same fit from this non-nylon slip version, but the fit is not the same.
I can’t walk comfortably in this version. My heels are constantly slipping out.
