I originally purchases these for when I work in the studio. I liked their resemblance to Doc Martins but was impressed that they were somewhat lighter in weight and had a cushioned insole. But they are stiff and the tongue/lace ups part are high and cut me at the base of my ankle so I have to wear them only partially laced up. They are still new and I'm hoping they'll break in because I really like them.
I would normally never order this style of shoe, but so glad I did. It's so contemporary and really makes a statement. The oil rubbed brown leather is awesome and looks great with jeans.
