These shoes do look a bit too "old" for me. I bought them in black since I needed a wide width. I'm 41 and they look like something my 87-year-old grandmother would wear. I wish they had the Go Walk wide-widths in colors. Evidently only old women have wide feet? However, I bought these as walking shoes, galavanting around town shoes, and possibly even going to work shoes. The first thing I noticed is they are really LIGHT. They're also very comfortable. My husband is always complaining that I run around the house barefoot (because he's worried there will be random glass or nails that I step on - lol) and I think I finally found a pair of shoes I would happily wear around the house because they're as comfy as wearing socks. So while they're not as stylish as I'd hoped, they're comfortable and that's good enough for me. The real test will be to see if they can handle a three to four mile walk without chafing.

I wanted a shoe as comfortable as Go Walk Skechers, but less casual. These fit the bill. Very comfortable, and can be worn with nicer slacks to meetings. Not really dressy, but not as casual as the sneaker look. Love them!

I am retired and a little heavy and I walk a lot. I have never had a more comfortable shoe to walk/exercise in. They beat any kind of sneaker hands down, plus this is the first shoe besides flip/flops I can wear without socks. They go everywhere with me.
