I usually wear a regularly wide shoe, but the 9W was too narrow for me. I love the style, but now I need to return these, which is pretty annoying.

My wife owns same shoe in different color - size 9-1/2. Ordered a second pair for her in black in same size - 9-1/2. These are running 1/2 size small. A lot tighter than her other shoes
