Love the toe!

My daughters wear these as part of their uniform for school and both girls say they are very comfortable. I discovered this shoe after Keen discontinued the Libby mary janes I have purchased for the past five years. I searched specifically for a shoe with a rubber toe wrap, as it keeps the shoe looking great after many hours of abuse at school and on the playground - and these do!
The leather is a little stiff (and the only reason I give quality four stars), but I am pleased they are leather and not synthetic. Also, this may seem like a silly point, but my girls were excited by the hearts on the soles. In a plain black mary jane it is a simple way of making the shoe a little frilly and special.
We have only had the shoes a few weeks, but thus far they are holding up well and I plan to purchase these again when we need our next size up.

I liked these shoes because they looked sturdier and the thick sole looked like it would work better in winter, but my daughter does not like them because she does not think they are cute.
