This shoe preforms just as described. It sheds water very fast and leaves the foot feeling dry in no time at all. I was very surprised at how light and comfortable this shoe is. I have found my self grabbing this shoe for my everyday running around instead of my old broken in walking shoe.

Used these for hiking in the Zion Canyons and on light trails. Pro: Good traction in the rivers and on trails; light weight; easy to clean. Cons: Internal seams rubbed against feet causing some minor blistering when worn without socks.

I bought the Drainmaker for a trip to the mountains to enjoy some great waterfalls and family tubing trips on a couple of different rivers. The shoes fit me perfect, are extremely light and just plain comfortable. I am not into shoes that are to flashy ... so the black color was a great choice for my selection.
