This is a very GOOD shoe for work, especially if you are on your feet all day. on my job I walk all day and this was the best shoe that I have ever worn. just worn out the third pair and despotly trying to find another pair in a size 81/2 wide. I have purchased 3 other pairs, none as comfortable as those.Waiting for them to come on back. King, GA

I merchandise for a local retailer and I am on my feet 8 hrs a day. I have tried so many different shoes. Usually by the end of a work day, I can hardly walk. My hips, back, legs and feet hurt me so much. When I wear my shape ups, I get around so much better, and I am not in so much pain. It absorbs the shock as I walk. I like the fact that I cannot twist my ankle in these shoes. I like that they are slip resistant. The only thing I could say that I don't like about this shoe, is that it is bulky looking and I wear skirts. Not the most attractive look, but the comfort of the shoe is worth it.
This is my 2nd pair of "Shape Ups". The first pair had rubber "cleats" that wore down over a year of daily use. Once worn along the right rear edges, the shoes began to create corns and blisters because the shoes could no longer perform as designed. "Shape Ups" like the first pair were considered unbalaned and "dangerous". This "work" model has a tread and internal balance that corrects the design problems. I have not resumed 2 mile walks yet. I am waiting for a wart to heal. However, for 1/2 mile walks, they have been great! Keep making "Shape Ups" so I can keep my spine comfy!
